WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE?

The temperature in Skagway during the
summer is usually an average of 65 degrees; however, when  the sun shines the temperature can climb to 85+ degrees! To get an idea of what kind of weather you might expect during your stay you may want to check out an internet weather site for a forecast although you will probably have to wait until you arrive in Skagway to know for sure what the weather will be! Generally Skagway is always a little windy, as are the Dyea tidal flats so the best thing is to dress in layers.
